The Prince of Mexican Regional Music, Jonatan Sánchez, Triumphs!

Congratulations to our newest Latin crush for the release of his first CD, “Mi Primera Vez,” launched on December 4th at the emblematic Grammy Museum.

@gabrielalvarad1| Los Angeles. Wake up girls! We have a new Latin sensation knocking on our door. His name is Jonatan Sánchez and in only two years of his musical career he is already seen/called/recognized as the Prince of Mexican regional styles.

The prince is definitely in our hearts! Although, he really deserves the title. Jonatan is now one of the youngest most prominent figures in the music industry and at just 15 years of age, he has revolutionized music with his first single “Mi Primera Vez,” which bears the same name as his just released album.

The interpreter causes sensation wherever he sets foot. His first successful song managed to take Jonatan Sánchez to great venues like the prestigious Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, performed a duet with his idol and good luck charm, Noel Torres, on the stage of Premios de la Radio in 2014.

The American-born singer also participated in the successful tours of the Latin Grammy’s Street Parties and the summer tour “Descarga”. An even bigger accomplishment is on the stage of the “Premios Juventud” tour, precisely where he won his first nomination for “New Youth Artist.”

(That was just a little snoop into his career)

Today, at 17 years of age, Jonatan celebrates one of his dreams come true, the release of his first CD and music video “Mi Primera Vez,” a song that just hours after being released in late September in iTunes, managed to climb to the #1 spot as the top digital song downloaded.

During his red carpet interview with Quinceanera.com, on December 4th at the epic Grammy Museum, Jonatan shared with us his trajectory recording his album.

Literally his words…

“It’s been an amazing experience and hard work. My new disc reflects real dedication and joy and has been a journey full of learning experiences.”

Jonatan thanks his parents, who were present at the Grammy Museum celebrating his latest accomplishment, for being strict, but at the same time very supportive. “Their education growing up has been the main influence on the man I want to become. They still teach me about limits and the importance of learning, but at the same time, are flexible enough to help me pursue my dreams.”

We couldn’t say bye before asking Jonatan his biggest advice to help teenagers not fall off track.

To what he replied…

“Surround yourself with good people and always rely on your parents.” Since he is a true believer that dreams do come true with hard work, Jonatan finished up with a touching message. “Invest all your energies on fulfilling your dreams and goals, you might think you are too young to start working on achieving them, but as the saying goes, it’s never too late to start, it’s never too early to start dreaming.”

Congratulations Jonatan Sánchez! On behalf of our entire team and network of Quinceañeras, we wish you the best on your very promising career. We’ll for sure follow your steps from now on, as we’ve become your #1 fans. (Download his single here)
