Today! Daddy Yankee takes on a role on CBS drama, “The Bold and the Beautiful”

For all of you Daddy Yankee-loving’ quinceañeras, you’d be glad to know that today is the day when you can see the man himself debut on the small screen. The Puerto Rican reggaetonero that helped place reggaeton music on the top of US charts and whose hot track “Grito Mundial” was chosen as the official ESPN Latino 2010 FIFA World Cup ad campaign song, can be watched from June 1st to June7th on the CBS award-winning drama “The Bold and the Beautiful”. Playing himself, Daddy Yankee will perform “Grito Mundial” as well as premiere the single “Que Es La Que Hay” during his 7-episode run on the daytime drama.

Daddy Yankee’s “The Bold and the Beautiful” acting performance will be the fourth acting job for the performer, following his 2008 role in “Talento de Barrio”, a film directed by José Iván Santiago and produced by Daddy Yankee himself.
