Runway Ready Quinceañera Dress Ideas For You and Your Damas

A woman in a Quinceanera gown walking down a runway Everywhere you turn, it's fashion week galore, red carpet events and amazing gowns to drool over. And that’s perfect for you now that it’s time to start looking for a gorgeous gown to call your own. Take to these amazing designs as seen on the runway to get inspired for your own Quinceañera dress!

As seen on the runways of last week’s Mercedes-Benz fashion shows, some of our favorite designers predict a fall 2011 season nothing short of glamour when it comes to evening dresses.

Dress Ideas for Quinceañeras and Damas In One-Shoulder Deep Green

As stated by our friend Kimberly at Unique Vintage just a few days ago, the one-shoulder will make a bold statement this year and can also make a great impression in your Quinceañera. To rock this style for your Quince, have your dress designer create a one-shoulder look for yourself and/or your damas.

You can choose from either a one-shoulder in a strap, long sleeve or short sleeve. And if you can’t decide in either cut because you love them all, you can have your damas dresses in alternating cuts so that you don’t even have to choose.

Another great trend this year is the mermaid cut. This style is a great alternative to the traditional princess style and perfect for the avante garden quinceañera. This style is form fitting at the bodice, with the skirt designed to resemble a mermaid’s tail in silhouette. This cut does wonders for your silhouette and accentuates your waist, no wonder it’s so popular amongst some of Hollywood’s leading ladies!

Quinceañera Dress Ideas in Red and BlackAs for colors, rich reds, nudes, and deep greens were prominent. The black evening gown made its expected appearance on the runway of course, and even appeared in a minimal touch as a silk belt, a cropped fur coat, over lace or as an oversized hat. In the case that an all black Quince ball gown is out of the question for you, these last details are some that you can add to your dress in order to stay up to date with the latest trends!
