Princess for a Day in Cinderella’s Carriage

Who says fairytales are dead? We have good news for you! We’ve found Cinderella’s carriage so you can arrive to your Quince party like a true princess.

Enchanted Carriages, the company responsible for this new adventure, will make sure that your favorite carriage is at your doorstep waiting to take you anywhere you want; and of course it wouldn’t be the same if you didn’t have the coachman and white horses dressed up for the occasion as well.

“Turning 15 is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It is a very special day for young girls and we are at their service, whether to take them to church, the banquet hall, or simply posing for pictures,” says Susan Eccles, owner of this company which has operated all over southern California for more than 12 years. “Although we are located in Moorpark, in Ventura County, we are available from Santa Barbara all the way to San Diego.”

Sure enough Enchanted Carriages can be seen in weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and Quinceañeras. The type of carriages available are as glamorous as their names: White Vis-a-Vis, Victoria, Limousine, and of course the Cinderella Coach.

According to Susan, the last two carriages are popular among young girls and both are available for $850 per hour with a capacity for 6 to 9 people for the Quince Limousineand 4 to 6 people for the Cinderella Coach, “depending on the size of the dress.” For the latter, Susan recommends making a reservation with enough time since it is a favorite for Quinceañeras.

“Our services include carriage decoration and a sign that reads “Happy Quinceañera” in the back. We also offer champagne, although girls will have to wait for their wedding for that,” jokes Susan.

The best part is that every detail is made according to the color and style chosen by the Quinceañera. “The flowers and ribbons are usually white, but we can adjust to match the colors used in the hall.” The same goes for the attire used for the coachman and his assistant. They can wear a tuxedo and top hat or dress like in western movies, it all depends on what the Quinceañera wants.

Lastly, Susan recommends that if renting this method of Quinceañera transportation, you wear comfortable shoes and take many pictures. “The truth is that we make a great effort to make girls feel like true princesses on their special day and they love it. They say it’s magical, a dream come true!”
