Dubbed the bowtie king, Marc Clark has made a frenzy out of celebrity inner circles with his handmade MARCC bowtie brooch collection. The idea for the pre-tied bowtie came to the New York-based designer in a dream where he envisioned pop icon Lady Gaga rocking a concert wearing an oversized bow on her head. Before the mad streets of NY woke the next morning, Clark was already hard at work penning the prototype MARCC bowtie from the material of a canvas bag.

Through trial and error, the entrepreneur was able to create an entire 14-piece accessory line that can we worn by both males and females as a bowtie, brooch, hair clip or shoe lace adornment. Available in solid colors such as silver, red, white, pink, gold, green and brown, the line also consists of fun patterns such as snakeskin and leopard. The metallic, solid color designs retail for $40, while the patterned pieces sell for $50. Each MARCC bowtie is lined with three rows of rhinestones available in black or silver.

The line is a favorite among the biggest trendsetters in entertainment including Rihanna, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Will.I.Am. The collection now also features foxtails, glasses and T-shirts.
