The best Quinceañera present comes with three of the biggest names in Latin music: Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, and Wisin Y Yandel! The three recently announced a summer tour that will take them all across the United States. The tour begins on July 14 at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Additional dates are still being confirmed, but San Jose, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Anaheim are among the confirmed pit stop cities.
In San Jose, the trio will visit the HP Pavilion, in Anaheim they will stop at the Honda Center, in Los Angeles they’ll take over the STAPLES Center, and in Las Vegas the Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, and Wisin Y Yandel tour will stop at the Mandalay Bay Resort.
Tickets for the tour, which is promoted by AEG Live and presented by State Farm, went on sale Friday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m. Prices range from $29.50- $250.00.
During the event where the tour was announced, Lopez expressed her excitement to tour with Iglesias and her fellow Puerto Rican reggaeton duo. She also commented that since her two children will not be in school during that time, they will more than likely join her on tour. A live feed on JenniferLopez.com will allow fans to follow her from city to city and will grant them access to exclusive photos, videos, and giveaways.
According to Lopez, the tour will include the three artist’s Spanish and English hits, a few surprises and intense choreography. Zuhair Murad, who has dressed the Latin superstar before, including at this year’s Oscars, will design the tour costumes.
The tour follows Lopez’s sophomore year as “American Idol” judge as well as the release of “Dance Again”, her club-dance hit single alongside Pitbull. For Wisin Y Yandel, the tour will serve as a promotional platform to present their new album, “Lideres”, which is scheduled for release in June and in which Jennifer Lopez appears as a featured vocalist. Last summer, an Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spear tour fell through the cracks, and instead the Spaniard jumped on a tour with Pitbull and Prince Royce.
As for whether Jennifer Lopez or Enrique Iglesias will headline the tour, Lopez stated that they will more than likely take turns.
