 It premiered September 13 on MTV Latin America Latin American telenovela “Bad Girls” produced by Sony, whose main theme is the theme of “Lolita” by Mexican singer Belinda.

To give life to the song “Lolita” Belinda, the protagonists of the series recorded the video by the Mexican artist. This video is currently in rotation on MTV Latin America.

Produced by MTV and Sony Pictures Television, this series represents the first novel produced by the video channel. It is the first time that MTV show gender issues a “telenovela” format of an hour.

The plot of the teen telenovela focuses on a group of girls who rebel against the models they want to impose them. The production is by Teleset SA Bogotá, Colombia, with a cast of figures from all over Latin America, among which are the main protagonists as Aub Carmen (Mexico), Isabel Burr (México) and Jessica San Juan (Colombia).

For the first time on MTV

The telenovela “Bad Girls” is being broadcast at 7:00 pm (Arg / Col / Mex) and 8:00 p.m. (Chile) from September 13, marking a milestone in the sign of MTV with the launch of its first fiction series.

According to Marlon Quintero, VP Development and Production at Sony Pictures Television, “it is really exciting to see this project come true. Niñas Mal represents a step forward in innovation in the genre. We have taken the young adult novel to a level of narrative realism and aesthetic that we believe will mark pattern. ”

“Bad Girls” focuses on three high-society girls who break with established patterns of life set by their parents. In return, they decide to send them to the only school of manners that is left in the city, causing them to join forces in their interests. The series reflects the lives of teenagers and their problems with family, finding love and friendship. After all, they want to just have fun, live their own lives and, most importantly, love and be loved.

“Lolita”: A metaphor for society

“Lolita” is the theme of the series, played by multi-platinum singer Belinda. The video was filmed Lolita last July in Bogotá, Colombia and was released on August 23 on MTV screen. The creative concept and production of the same were made by the MTV creative team; directed by Rosca. In it, we see the stars of Bad Girls cause mayhem at a convenience store. A metaphor for society, because the supermarket is an environment organized and under perfect control, they rebel against the “Bad Girls.” The video can be seen throughout Latin America via MTV and mtvla.com sites.
