Masquerades have long been a popular theme in history. Its origins are up for debate as some historians have dated it back to the Egyptians & Greek. Some have associated it with the 15th century Carnival, while others have associated it with the 16th century Renaissance Era. All in all, it became popular amongst Europeans in the 17th and 18th centuries. It was the perfect theme for a fall quinceañera. MJ Kreations wanted to design an elegant affair for her daughter Mia. Her work has gone viral around the world. Attention to detail is what she is best known for. She paired rich and bold Fall colors with antique Victorian masquerade elements. She truly highlighted the decor of this era because everything was very ornate. The detailed black lace mask was a stunning ornamental prop for Mia’s masquerade.

When thinking about a fall quinceañera, it is important to consider what colors are prominent for the season. The design of the event was the perfect blend of colors and details. Gold pieces added the perfect glam elements for the tabletop.
Floral decor embellishes an event. JNJ Florals’ lush cascading floral centerpieces were truly a statement piece. When thinking about their design, they thought about incorporating textures and rare flowers to make it very unique One, in particular, was the Mokara orchids that created height and length to the floral centerpiece. Fall’s rich color hues were paired with the intensity and beauty of red heart roses. Did you know that red roses are the most popular flowers around the world? These regal centerpieces left everyone visually captivated by their presence.

Rentals also play an important part to your decor. You want every part of your event to flow into the next. The Royal Throne provided a Gold Baroque styled table, that was the perfect setting for the quinceañera’s customized accessories. A throne chair was also brought in to give our quinceañera a chair fit for a princess. Create Event Designs provided the most stunning velvet linens, specialty chairs, and tableware to create the ultimate luxe look.

Traditionally, a quinceañera dress is a very important element of this coming-of-age celebration. These gorgeous, over the top ball gown dresses, signify the transition into adulthood. Quinces Queen designed a champagne color off the shoulder dress, with a gorgeous ruffle train. The ball gown’s glittery full skirt and intricate detailing made it quite the stunner. The champagne, baroque, icicle crystal tiara was a fine balance between modern and tradition. It was quite an exquisite accessory.

Quinces Queen can also customize dolls to match your quinceañera dress

Beauty plays a vital role in creating a flawless look for pictures. Jicel of Glamour on the Go created the ultimate glamour look for Mia. Her look focused on the glowing and contouring of the skin, while still highlighting the eyes. Eyes draw the greatest attention. She created the hottest smokey eye with a pop of Rose Gold shimmer at the center of the lid. Everything was perfectly custom-crafted and catered to Mia’s face and skin tone. She completed her look with a bold red lip.

In recent years I have seen a shift in quinceañeras. You are probably wondering how does a low rider ties in with a Victorian Masquerade. Generation Z LatinX quinceañeras are finding ways to preserve cultural roots. Generation Z makes up the largest cohort of LatinX living in the United States.

Mia wanted to incorporate her Uncle Mario’s show-quality car 1964 Impala Super Sport Convertible into her special day. The lowrider car culture became popularized in Los Angeles back in the mid-to-late 1940s. CNC Anaheim is seeing a trend amongst quinceañeras as they said that hydraulics creates an entertainment factor that traditional transportation can’t offer.

Saving the best for last is the team that captures your quinceañera day. Finding the right team that has a storytelling style is very important. It is a big investment and all you will have left after your quinceañera. Jess Noel Photo knows all too well the importance of the day’s details. She is quite the visual storyteller. Her beautiful photography gave us a glimpse of all the elements of the day down to the very last detail.

Videography is a very cinematic approach. Jonah of 888 Production is amazing at curating an emotional story-driven highlight that captures the people, special moments, and the events of the day. Anyone would be moved to tears as they watch the cinematic trailer reliving their special day.
Make sure to carefully vet your vendors and find the right team that reflects all of the elements that go into your quinceañera. Walk into your event confidently. Consistency and flow is everything for your event day. If in doubt, reference our amazing team of vendors to help you execute your quinceañera day.
