The Decor
Think of the soft gracefulness of ballet, powder pastels would translate this feeling the best. A blush or light pink would be a more traditional color scheme, although baby blue, beige and even black would look great. Flowers like peonies and roses in light colors, can be used to represent the femininity of ballet, while embellishments like rhinestones and beading can be used to show the glamour that comes with being a prima ballerina!
The Dress
To go along with the ballet theme, the dress should be made of a full tulle skirt, preferably A-line, to look like a tutu of course! For the bodice, you can go with a more feminine simple style and add a floral crown, or you can add glam and drama by choosing a fully embellished bodice! Pair the dress with some ballet flats, before your father changes your shoes into heels!
The Cake
To tie the cake into the theme, make sure to add some ruffle like a tutu skirt, some ribbon like the pointe shoe ribbon. Lastly add either flowers or embellishment to match the theme on your dress.
The Invitations
The invitations should be classy, as classy as the classical music ballet is danced to. Stick to the color scheme and stay away from anything over the top. Remember less is more! Add a little touch of embellishment, floral decor, or tulle, but keep it minimal.
