Balloon arches are super popular at quinceañeras! Placing them at the entrance, over candy tables, or on the dance floor will perfectly fill up your venue space. Best of all, you don’t need an expert to create one. The instructions below will convert you into a pro in no time!

What you’ll need:

  • 96 balloons in the color of your choice
  • 4 helium tanks
  • 6 balloon weights
  • Purple curling ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Stepping stool

Directions:

Step 1: Inflate your first balloon

Step 2: Inflate your second balloon and tie it to the first one to make a pair. Make sure all balloons are even in size.

Step 3: Repeat steps 1 & 2 and tie the pairs together by twisting the center around each other to form clusters.

Step 4: Cut a long strand of ribbon (approximately 48 inches). Tie one end to a balloon weight. Tie the other end around the center of the cluster you created. Leave enough room underneath the top layer since you’ll be adding 3 more clusters.

Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4, make 6 groups of balloon clusters.

Step 6: Begin making a column. Take the next group and cut off the balloon weight. Then tie it to the first balloon group. Eventually, you’ll need a stepping stool.

Step 7: Repeat steps 5-6 and make a second column.

Step 8: Connect the two columns together by tying the tops of each. Tada, you have just created an arch!
