The Princess Project is a non-profit organization which is dedicated to providing fashionable prom dresses and accessories for teen girls who can’t afford them otherwise. Since 2002, they’ve provided more than 20,000 young women from Northern California with fabulous prom dresses and everything else they need to complete their look. This organization was founded by the family and friends of a teenage girl from Florida by the name of Rebecca Kirtman who passed away in tragic car accident in August of 2003. During her freshman year in high school Becca started a dress drive for girls who weren’t able to afford the prom dress of their dreams. These days, Becca’s legacy lives on through the charity called Becca’s Closet.
