Quinceañera dresses are the protagonists in the new boutique of Mexican designer Mitzy, which will open to the public on February 2nd and you’re invited!

In the film “Pretty Woman”, Julia Roberts immortalizes Beverly Hills as the place of luxury and glamour. Now, Mitzy, the famous Mexican designer, makes his mark on the exclusive LA neighborhood with a boutique full of wedding and evening gowns, as well as his famous designs for Quinceañeras.

Although his new shop is not officially opened, Mitzy has not stopped selling Quince dresses. “I have no idea how people find out about my new locations, but no matter where I go young girls find me,” said Mitzy after assisting a family in his elegant two-floor boutique.

His fame of giving young girls exactly what they’re looking for follows him wherever he sets up shop. “For me, its very satisfying to be part of those type of events and to make the young girls feel like true queens.” To achieve that, the designer does not overlook any details of his designs and always makes sure that each detail is to perfection. “The final result is a young girl that looks wonderful and spectacular.”

That same tenacity and attention to detail is the same that has allowed him his impressive 40 plus years in the industry. Mitzi began working as a designer by styling all the celebrities that walked the halls of Mexican network Televisa. He then created designs for Maria Felix, Salma Hayek, Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie and, of course, Thalia, for whom he designed her famous wedding dresses and for whom he’ll design a gown for the artwork of her upcoming album.

But his ability to attract celebrities does not end there. Recently, the very own Lady Gaga became one of his clients as well. “She purchased a white Quinceañera dress online, which I’m sure will become a favorite among many.”

In regard to the Quinceañera dresses found at his boutique, Mitzy continues to favor voluminous cuts, embroideries, and his famous detailing that many celebrities have worn. “This year I’m also doing a lot of designs in emerald green, jade and Renaissance-themed Quinceañera dresses. Brides always ask for gowns with long trains similar to the one I designed for Thalia, and in the little spare time I have I’m also trying to work on prom dresses that will sell in Macy’s and Target.”

In the midst of it all, Mitzy does not stop with the planning of his boutique’s grand opening, which is scheduled for February 2nd and promises to be huge.
