There are so many cool, spooky things to do with your friends and family. Such as enjoying a day at the pumpkin patch, watching Halloween classics, haunted houses, and much more! Below you will find these 8 spooky-filled activities to consider if you dare!

Come enjoy a free two-day, family-friendly Halloween hoopla! It should be noted to register on Eventbrite before the event for your free general admissions tickets. Check out the dates and times below.

Spooky Movies at The El Capitan Theatre

Walk of Fame (Hollywood)

It’s a scream come true! 🎃   Especially, at El Capitan . Make sure to get in some spooky movie time with your family. The Hollywood theatre will be showing Hocus Pocus along with The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch (Culver City)

Head on over to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch this October for the best Insta pictures.  Above all, this is a great place for friends but it is also a family-friendly event.

LA Haunted Hayride

Griffith Park (Los Feliz)

The LA Haunted Hayride features live entertainment, three frightening scare zones, and of course the infamous Haunted Hayride too. In conclusion, it should be noted that this event is not for the faint of heart! 

 Carved at Descanso Gardens

La Canada Flintridge (Los Angeles County) 

It’s here! Carved opens and descends at Descanso Gardens now through Oct. 31. In other words, check out the jack o’lanterns, a  pumpkin house, and other installations on a spooktacular path through the garden. Not only are the gardens family-friendly but this is also a great place to go on a date too.

Freeform’s Halloween Road

Heritage Square Museum (Montecito Heights)

The experience will take place at Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles, California, and is open to the public from Friday, OCT. 1, through Tuesday, OCT. 5th. Above all, this is definitely a Halloween must!

Knotts Scary Farm

Knott’s Scary Farm is the largest and most haunting Halloween event in Southern California. For instance, there are unimaginable scares and innovative thrills that can’t be found anywhere else. It should be noted that technically this event is in Orange county.

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights 

(Hollywood)

Universal Studios Hollywood is transformed into L.A.’s most terrifying Halloween experience, filled with walk-through maze attractions, intense scare zones, and high-octane rides in addition to the scare zones.  Above all, the mazes at Halloween Horror Nights are unlike any other. However, it should be noted that this event is not suited for young children.
