Mother’s Day is right around the corner and perhaps with the planning of your Quinceañera all eyes are set on you, therefore now is the time to pamper that special woman who has always been by your side. Pleasing your mom might not be an easy task specially when living on a teen budget, however, keep in mind that any gesture coming from you, whether it’s breakfast in bed or a flower bouquet, will make her feel as special as she really is.
Here are a couple ideas for planning a perfect day to make your mom smile like never before.
1) Classic idea never fails:
Wake her up with breakfast in bed. Orange juice and a cheese omelet with fruit on the side will be a positive and healthy way of starting her day with her family.
- 2 eggs
- 2 tea spoons of water
- 1 cup of mozzarella milk cheese
- 1/2 t cup de seedless tomatoes
- 2 bacon slices
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil
Heat the oven at 350°F. Beat the eggs and water with a mixer inside a medium bowl. Add ½ a cup of mozzarella cheese, the tomatoes, the bacon and the basil. Pour it all on a 9 inch plate. Let it cook for 25 minutes or until it bloats and turns golden. Add the remaining cheese and let it cook for 5 more minutes or until the cheese melts.
2) A flower bouquet
After breakfast, show her a grand gesture by creating a path on the floor with rose petals from her room until she reaches a flower bouquet. There is no need for expensive things to make your mom smile; with such a grand gesture you’ll make her feel appreciated.

3) A surprise family reunion
End the special day with a family reunion in celebration of your mom. It might be conventional but you can add the surprise factor with a serenade from a live mariachi that will make her cry of happiness. Planning in advance could save you some money, therefore, ask your family members to pitch in for the expense. Or if you wish to be creative and save money, you can always sing for her yourself. She’ll surely love any gift that comes from your heart!
