Do you suffer from unsightly acne despite having tried various treatments and products? This is probably because you don’t realize what exactly is causing you to breakout.
If you can relate, check out these 5 reasons why your acne just isn’t going away.
1. Poor Diet
Everyone knows that your diet plays a huge role in the health and appearance of your skin. In order to reduce and ultimately prevent breakouts, you want to stay away from greasy fried foods and instead load up on fresh fruits and veggies.
Our bodies need a sufficient amount of H2O each day in order to flush out toxins and other chemicals. If you’re not properly hydrating throughout the day, your skin cells could be being built up with a generous amount of impurities which in turn leads to acne.
3. You’re Not Using the Right Products
If your skin is prone to breakouts, you need to make sure you are using the right products to prevent pimples caused by oiliness. Make sure you are using a moisturizing cleanser that has a low dosage of salicylic acid in it, a gentle toner and an oil-free moisturizer.
4. You’re Over Cleansing
When you see a pimple or two pop up, your immediate reaction is likely to wash your face repeatedly in order to rid your skin of bacteria. As a matter of fact, washing your skin too often can actually be causing your skin to dry out and more acne to appear.
5. You’re Not Letting Your Skin Breath
The pores of your skin need oxygen in order to eliminate bacteria, dirt and other impurities. If you’re constantly wearing a fully face of makeup, you’re not giving your skin a chance to properly breath. Make sure you are washing your face each night so your skin can rest while you are asleep.
