Santa Berries

Adorable, delicious, and easy to make!

  • Strawberries
  • Cream Cheese frosting in an icing pipe
  • Black/brown Sugar Sprinkles (from the baking aisle at your grocery store)
  • Toothpick

Wash all of your strawberries and place them on a paper towel to drain and dry. Once dry, cut off the stems, but make sure to cut flat across because this will be the stand for your Santas. Then cut off the tips of the strawberries and set them aside (they will be the Santa hats).

Place the larger halves of the strawberries on a serving tray with the chubbiest side facing down and then use the icing pipe to carefully place a dollop of the frosting on top of each strawberry. Be careful not to put too much though or it will start coming down the sides.

Place the “hats” on your Santas and place a tiny drop of frosting on the tip. (Optional) Using a toothpick, put 2 to 3 tiny drops of black icing along the front of each strawberry (to look like the buttons on Santa’s suit).

Finally, make the eyes using black/brown sugar sprinkles, or colored icing.

Banana Penguins

  • Bananas, cut into 2″ sections
  • 1 bag of M &M’s (separate the orange ones)
  • Small candy eyeballs (found in the baking aisle)
  • Melting Chocolate (found in the baking aisle)

These penguins are super easy to make! Just melt the melting chocolate by following its instructions and then dip each end in the chocolate. One side should have more chocolate than the other, this will be the head of the penguin.

Once the chocolate has somewhat dried, place two orange M & M’s next to each other horizontally as its feet and another vertically as its beak. It is at this time that the eyes should be added on as well.

Celery Reindeer

  • Celery, cut into 2″ sections
  • 1 carton of raspberries
  • 1 bag of pretzels
  • Candy eyeballs (found in the baking aisle)
  • Peanut butter

Santa’s sleigh cannot be pulled without his reindeer! These are super easy fun treats to make. First, spread the peanut butter within the 2″ celery sticks. Then add the candy eyes and raspberry nose, and to finish it off break a pretzel in two and place those as the antlers. Voilà! Healthy reindeer to pull Santa’s sleigh!
