The older you get the harder it is to change bad eating habits. Therefore, it’s best if you get your body used to healthy eating at a young age.

Considering that eating fruits and vegetables provides your body with nutrients that will give you a better quality of life, you need to include them as part of your daily diet. Salads, for example, include those necessary vitamins, so a good way to start eating healthy now, is by learning how to prepare a few basic salads that will give you the nutrients your body needs.

Follow these steps to prepare 3 salads for healthy eating:

Tomato and avocado salad:

Step 1: Cut thin tomato slices
Step 2: Cut avocado squares
Step 3: Place the tomato slices, the avocado and mozzarella cheese one after the other
Step 4: Season with salt and pepper, then cut and add basil to the salad
Step 5: Add olive oil and vinegar

Why is it healthy? Nutrients in avocados prevent a number of diseases and also do wonders for your skin. Combined with tomato, which is rich in potassium and vitamins C and E, this salad will keep your diet balanced for healthy eating.

Celery, avocado and apple salad

Step 1: Soak raisins in tea; sweet wine is also an option
Step 2: Chop celery and soak it in cold water for 30 minutes
Step 3: Add chopped apple
Step 4: Add chopped avocado
Step 5: Add salted pepper and a bit of lemon

Why is it healthy? Celery is a great source of calcium and highly recommended for losing weight. It helps eliminate toxin excess and, just like apples, regulates cholesterol.

Mushroom salad

Step 1: Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and cut them in slices
Step 2: Place the slices on a plate
Step 3: Mix oil, lemon, onion, parsley, salt and pepper

Why is it healthy? Among the most important benefits of mushrooms are the proteins and minerals they have. With their low calorie count, these are great as snack food as well.
