Signature Spring Quince Glam Tutorial

Hi glam babes! My name is Christopher Buenrostro, better known as “GLAMByChristopher.”

I love EVERYTHING having to do with quinceaneras and have been involved in the industry since I was 15 years old glamming girls on their special days. I’m located in Phoenix, AZ and I’m so thankful for such a big Latino community here! I live and breathe makeup and don’t think I’ll ever stop doing it! Pictured in this article is what I consider my Spring signature look! I never forget how young my clients are, so I love for them to look glam but still look like themselves. Hope you enjoy this Spring look!

1.) SKIN PREP

Starting off with a clean & moisturized face is the key to flawless and long-lasting glam. Choose a primer that is the best suiting for your skin type and watch the skin come to life.

2.) EYEBROWS

For a more natural look, brush the brows in place using a clear brow gel and then lightly fill in the sparse areas with a pomade or pencil. To finish, use a concealer to shape the bottom and top of the brow for a cleaner look.

3.) EYESHADOW + LASHES

The correct shadow shape and lashes can really enhance one’s eyes if placed correctly. Using natural pink shadows and topping with a rose gold glitter will look GLAM, but still, be appropriate for a 15-year-old. Topping with a pair of wispy lashes always complements one’s eyes and makes them appear to be bigger and more open.

4.) FOUNDATION+BASE

The key to having a seamless base and looking flawless is choosing the right shade/type of foundation and then concealing darker spots. Immediately setting the face with a translucent powder will ensure longevity for a quinceañera big day.

5.) CONTOUR + BAKING

For a more natural look, Contouring with a powder will give dimension but not look heavy on the skin. Bronzing will give a beautiful sun-kissed look when using bronzer on the forehead and cheekbones.

6.) BLUSH + HIGHLIGHT

These next 2 steps are vital to completing the look and looking fabulous on your big day. Applying blush to the apples of the cheeks will bring life to the face and following with a highlighter on the cheekbones, nose, and Cupid’s bow will give that perfect glow.
