The new 2014 Orange County Cover Girl, Annie Ventura

Discipline, passion, and determination are the words that best describe the winner of our 2014 OC Cover Girl Contest, Annie Ventura, a fifteen-year-old girl who knows exactly what she wants for her future career and life.

Despite her petit complexion this teenager girl from Orange County knows how to conquer any camera or judge. With a serene appearance, and somewhat shy, at first glance, Anny conveys something more when she is on stage. Once she is there she is capable of spreading an unusual mixture of joy, professionalism, and self-confidence.

Perhaps these virtues have been acquired thanks to her experience as a great ballet dancer since age eight, an activity that has helped her to fully understand the meaning of words like discipline and consistency. Although she is also experienced in Mexican folk dance, her favorite dance style on stage is tango because of the strong emotions it elicits.

Despite her young age, Annie gives the impression that she has already lived many lives, reflecting self-confidence in everything that she does. She defines herself as “friendly, independent, perseverant, and self-confident, although sometimes I am lazy for some things” – she confess with an honest smile.

She also told us that she has not had her Quinceañera party yet because she is not sure of wanting such a celebration. Annie is very practical. She prefers a car. It does not matter what model it is, whether it’s new or old, although she has certain predilection for Cadillacs. However, what she really wants is a means of transport that takes her to places and makes her feel independent.

For someone very focused and with clear goals, when asked about where she sees herself in ten years, the answer was simple: “I see myself studying Law at UCLA, and majoring in Criminal Law”. She does not exclude the idea of continue working as a model, something in which she has some experience since she has participated in several runways for the famous designer Mitzy.

Although winning the 2014 OC Cover Girl has been such an amazing opportunity, it made her a victim of bulling, since many of her classmates called her pretentious, arrogant, and false. However, with her mother’s help and her teachers’ support that bullying is now history.

We are sure we will continue hearing the future successes of Annie Ventura, thanks to her discipline and tenacity, she can achieve any goal that she sets for herself. Congratulations on being a great Quinceañera.com ambassador!
