Radio host by accident, Kelly Granados, found her dream career and home in Invasora 99.7 FM, one of the top Latin radio stations in San Diego and Tijuana.
Kelly Granados is carving out an impressive radio career for herself. On the back of her hosting a unique Latino radio station that aims to honor the Hispanic roots every second of airing, the Tijuanense star has been tapped to host the 2014 San Diego Quince Expo held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on October 19, 2014.
There is much to know about this passionate Latina host. Her radio career started when Kelly was just a teenager (not too long ago… quoting her) back in her native city, Tijuana, when she was encouraged to audition for Radio 540 AM in Sinaloa. Not so pleased with her hoarse voice, and trying something new, Kelly Granados found her way into the radio industry “making tons of mistakes or metiendo la pata” as she likes to remember her life journey.
Fortunately for her, she continued learning from life experiences and after leaving her first job as a radio host in Mexico, Kelly left her home town, family, and even a boyfriend to start a new journey in Los Angeles CA –where big dreams come true!
“It was not easy at all,” she shared with Quinceanera.com. “I was working in a clothing factory while pursuing a career in broadcasting. My rage for not being able to graduate pushed me to risk everything and turn my life around.” This made Kelly move to San Diego and accept the offer to host Invasora 99.7 FM, a radio station owned by Uniradio, a multimedia leader entertaining company with coverage in Tijuana, Ensenada, Mexicali, San Diego, among other cities.
Since then, Kelly Granados has positioned herself as a leader in her industry, influencing Invasora listeners that are normally very engaged in their communities and are extremely proud of their Hispanic roots.
With her very unique sense of humor, charismatic personality, and distinguished Latino touch, Kelly Granados will conquer the stage at the 2014 San Diego Quince Expo, which opens its doors at 12:00pm sharp.
Quinceanera.com is excited to introduce you to this fun and engaging Latina star and bringing her on board for the Quince expo, where she’ll have the honor to present celebrity Mexican designer, Mitzy, and Orange County based boutique, Moda 2000.
