Calibash 2017, presented by LaMusica and Mega 96.3 FM and produced in association with AEG Live, brought it live at the Staples Center sponsored by Toyota! The stage was set for a one-of-a-kind performance in Los Angeles and for the rest of the world to experience.
Part of the spectacular concert were reggaeton’s biggest stars: Don Omar with a successful career in Hollywood films, reinvented Nicky Jam with fresh new music, Prince Royce “The Prince of Bachata,” Gente de Zona, Ozuna with his first live performance in LA along with Arcangel, Karol G, Latin pop boyband sensation CNCO, De La Ghetto, J Alvarez, and Lady Natti.
One of the most electrifying performances was by Prince Royce, with his bachata hits “Stand by Me” and “Corazon sin Cara”, which got everyone off their seats to dance. Also, Ozuna’s performance was one of the most anticipated at Calibash and he was not alone. Arcangel stepped on stage to perform along his side for two songs that had the entire Staples Center on their feet. J Alvarez’s performance made the entire crowd rock from left to right with his 2012 hit “La Pregunta.” Nicky Jam performed his current hit “Hasta el Amanecer” which made the entire crowd at Staples loose their mind.
One of the most awaited performances was Wisin with his solo hits, which also included the 2005 hit with Yandel “Pam Pam.” Finally, Zion & Lennox’s performance lead to Don Omar’s awaited presence at Calibash 2017. The concert couldn’t have ended any other way!
Calibash at Staples Center was the beginning of the 10th year Anniversary which continued at Las Vegas, NV with Ricky Martin, Don Omar, and Wisin as the main headliners among a constellation of stars that performed that night.
