Monart Makeup

I got my bridal makeup done here and the ladies were great, good communication and the results were just what I asked for. Very pleased with the service. I would go there again for any special occasion.

Got my make up done here for my wedding along with my hair. My makeup up was so beautiful Michelle did an amazing job! My hair came out amazing too my only complaint is that it was falling apart by 8pm 😭. My bridesmaid also got her make up done here she absolutely loved it!! We will definitely be back but hopefully this time we finish on time we were supposed the be ready by 12 and we didn't get out of there until 1245. I had to skip my bridesmaids photo session. Our appointment was at 8 and other people got services before us .

I’m giving this a 3 star because i went here and got my hair & make done. The makeup was great i have no complains. But my hair was 100% NOT what i asked for. I went in the day of my PROM & showed a picture of basically a loose low bun. I have naturally curly big hair, so the last thing i want is to have to deal with that at prom. Anyways, i show the lady the picture but she spoke no English, so i began to try to speak to her in spanish but she still could not understand me. She asked for help and someone tried to explain it to her & i thought i was fine. But then half way thru i began to notice that she started doing her own thing! And she would get a small section of my hair, hairspray it WET, then use the curler to curl it (i heard my hair sizzle) , twist it & poppy pin it. At that point there was no going back so i just asked her “can you please just make it more flat” and she said okay, but all she did was add MORE poppy pins. Especially on the top. A girl beside me was also getting her hair done the same style as me but with a different worker & she got exactly what I wanted. To top it off, everyone in the studio asked me if i was having a 15 (because i was wearing a small tiara bc i was on prom court)! Overall, it looked nothing like the picture & i honestly felt very insecure & ugly the day of my prom.

I'm giving them a 2 star review simply for their lack of respect for others' time. If you have an appointment, good luck having them actually start at that said time! It is very disappointing when you need to be done by a certain time and the makeup artist or hairstylist doesn't start to work on you until much later. Despite their tardiness they do hair and makeup quite well, which is why I have returned in the past.
