The charismatic Fernanda Kelly to Host the Orange County Quince Expo

Fernanda Kelly

She just received a Telly Award for her journalism career at Univision. We are ecstatic to have the host of the television show LAnzate that airs on UniMás, Fernanda Kelly as the MC of our upcoming Orange County Expo on Sunday, June 8th, 2014.

Fernanda will finally celebrate her quinceañera! The popular TV host promises to have fun as if it was her very own quince party. The Quinceanera.com Expo in Orange County will be the quince party she never had, another dream turned into reality for a girl who accomplishes anything she sets her mind to.

Ever since she was a little girl, Fernanda dreamt with becoming an actress and Singer. At only 8 years old, she told her dad she wanted to be just like Rocío Dúrcal. Her dad’s only request was for her to attend college and after graduating from San Diego State University with a degree in journalism, Fernanda moved to Los Angeles to make her way into the entertainment industry.

“I arrived with little money but with a lot of dreams”, says Kelly. “I’ve worked hard, and eventually job offers came knocking on my door”.

Offers that to this day continue to arrive and which are to blame for Fernanda appearing in multiple movies, plays, ad campaigns and TV shows on channels such as PBS, LATV, Azteca and Telemundo. For the past three years Fernanda has been part of UniMás, owned by Univision, where she is the host of LAnzate, the #1 TV 7am-8am morning show.

“I am thrilled that our effort paid off for us to now be #1. I greatly appreciate it, and it only helps me better myself in every aspect of what I do”. A message Fernanda wants to express to the quinceañeras at next Sunday’s June 8th expo, “for them to know the true meaning behind their party and the sacrifice their families make”.

The most important part of her message is "for the girls not to turn into ‘quinceañeraszillas’, that they find their own identity and to finish school, since without education it is really hard to get anywhere", so says Fernanda Kelly.
