Being a teen girl isn’t always easy. Between school, family, friends, boys, and all those hormones, stress shows up quickly. You do your homework, help at home… but what about you? Take a pause. Care for yourself every single day — you totally deserve it. Try these tips, relax, and remind yourself: you’re beautiful, inside and out. 

1. Stay hydrated 

Aim for 8–10 glasses of water a day (and nope, soda and coffee don’t count). Water keeps your skin glowing, your energy up, and even boosts your mood. Get a cute water bottle and make it fun. Water really is life. Agua es vida. 

2. Wash your face every day 

In the morning, use a gentle cleanser and follow with a non-comedogenic sunscreen (SPF 30+). At night, cleanse again and add a light, oil-free moisturizer. Want stronger lashes? A little castor oil can help keep them healthy and pretty. 

3. Love your favorite feature 

Pick the part of you you like most and show it off. Brush your brows, add a little gloss, or choose your best shade of lipstick. Confidence is what really makes your features shine. 

4. Keep it simple 

Don’t overdo it with makeup or accessories. Let people see the real you, not just a trend. Less is more, and your natural style is always the winner. 

5. Never skip breakfast 

Your body needs fuel to start the day strong. Go for oatmeal for fiber, eggs for protein, or avocado toast for vitamins and omega-3s. 

6. Brush those teeth 

A clean smile is powerful. Keep your teeth healthy and show off those pearly whites with confidence. 

7. Take care of your hair 

Brushing spreads natural oils from your scalp to your ends and keeps your hair healthy. Straight hair? Brush a couple of times a day. Curly hair? Use a wide-tooth comb after conditioning to avoid frizz. 

8. Get your beauty sleep 

Teen girls need 8–10 hours of sleep every night for energy, health, and mood. Sleep helps you focus on class, keeps your skin fresh, and boosts your mental health. 

 

Give yourself a pep talk in the mirror before you head out. Always remember — there’s only one you, and you’re flawless. Keep this list handy, enjoy your youth, and never forget how beautiful you are.
