Airtel Plaza Hotel, 07/28/23 My granddaughter & her boyfriend they had stayed here. So me & my daughter her mama we got to see their room it was really nice & the pool area also & I just felt in love with everything about this Hotel because it's just like walking back in time. Over size ✈ "Airplane Models" & the old fashion lobby area & with all of the other cool history pictures on the walls it is so amazing!!! It was late but I would love to see it during the day. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s

The bathrooms would not lock. The towels are dirty. The beds are good and comfy. You need to put better food and drinks.

The potential this place has is immeasurable. Such a cool setup. Beautiful pool & hot tub area. Multiple courtyards with sitting areas, with what looked to be well-maintained trees (Palms, of course, lol), lawns, and plants. Really nice-looking patio eating area, unfortunately, the restaurant is currently not in use. Cool lobby area, that plane lovers of all ages will enjoy. Loads of photos of the building's original history. The rooms aren't anything remarkable, but the beds are comfy, everything looked & felt clean even if it showed some age, and are so unbelievably quiet, especially considering it is right off the airstrip. The staff is what MAKES this place thought. They seemed to take pride in their work and workplace.

There is something off about this hotel. I arrived at night and ran into an interesting set of people. I thought there was a pot smoking contest. They told me there is a wrestling event. If you are flying out of van nuys, then this hotel's location is unbeatable. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Coffee and doughnuts are available at the reception in the morning.

I don't even know where to start. The feeling is almost like if we were scammed. The photos online led us to expect a nice property with good amenities and breakfast. What we got was something completely different. The common areas were dirty and smelly, the room was also smelly, the AC unit was noisy, the shower couldn't hold a steady temperature, no amenities were available (swimming pool, jacuzzi, Cafe, bar... nothing), the breakfast was a joke, we paid $12 + tax per night for parking but the parking lot was chaotic, asphalt full of wholes and puddles, people were partying at the parking lot and blocking the way... Really bad experience... Having this property rated as a 3-star hotel is completing misleading. We are never coming back and don't recommend the property, unfortunately.
