BEAUTIFUL DRESS!!! My daughter and I walked through almost every store in DTLA and couldn’t find what my daughter was looking for. We walked inside Aprils shop, kindly being greeted by April and Martin. My daughter showed April a picture of the style of dress she was hoping to find. April saw the dress and guaranteed us she was able to make that dress my daughter wanted. We were nervous about not being able to see the actual dress. But with Aprils confidence and assurance that she CAN give my daughter her dream dress, we decided to take the chance. April took the time with us to discuss EVERY detail of how my daughter wanted the dress. She kept in touch with me, letting me know she was working on the dress and when it was ready. Once we saw the dress, we were STUNNED!!! It was EXACTLY how my daughter wanted her dress!! Down to the last detail!! I am so happy to have trusted in April and Martin!! Everyone loved the dress, ESPECIALLY my daughter! I would definitely recommend Aprils business to anyone! ❤️ 👗

Honestly we choose April Black Diamond out off the rest in downtown Los Angeles because they were not pushy when it came to buy one. But after the deposit it was very hard reaching out and talking with someone since we were from out of state. They messaged saying dress was ready for fitment only to try to reach back on a good day to come by very difficult to respond we drove 6 hours to get there only to get my Daughter Quinceañera Dress in a garbage bag very very unprofessional we felt like we had robbed a store walking with garbage bags . Please if you don't live close by don't bother doing business with them. There's a reason why you don't see comments on face or Instagram. I really recommend looking else we're.

My daughter's Quince dress had the rhinestones falling off the day of her party and the dress was 3500 this is unacceptable Martin and April ignore you once they get your money and April just stays on her phone when she's at the store. Also the boys suits from billionaire suits and the materials were horrible and cheap I decided to ignore the bad reviews before and I shouldn't have. The good reviews must be fake because the quality is horrible for what they charge

My original business deal was with April's husband who owns Billionaire Suits around the corner. April was in charge of customizing my suit and a cape on August 26th with a deadline of September 30th. Rafael and April said the suit would be $600 and a cape that I described to him would cost an additional $900. I left a $500 deposit that day through Zelle. Over the next few days, the only messages I received from was to ask for another deposit of $350 for a cape and promising to send the design over. I gave them ample time to create the product design and send me options for the materials, invite me back to the store to get the suit fitted but it was radio silent. I messaged them on September 16th, went into the store the following day and spoke to Esteban @Billionaire Suits and Martine @April Black Diamond and followed up with another message on September 21st and again on September 26th. I then sent what I thought would be a final message asking for a refund on September 28th but Rafael finally replied promising once again that the suit and cape would be available the next day. It was not. While the suit was there, it still needed tailoring and the cape wasn’t even made. With my deadline approaching, I had no choice but to wait and see the suit at the very least. They made me wait until October 2nd to actually see any progress. But of course the jacket still needed fitting and the cape they finally made over the weekend was. Just. UGLY. It looked like someone’s mom made it for their kid for a Halloween costume. It looked more like a $9 cape than a $900 cape. I left the store just destroyed by how poorly I’d been treated by Rafael and Abril. I walked around the fashion district with my fiancé for about an hour before deciding that I just wanted my money back for the cape and I’d deal with the suit. Abril agreed and had me come back the next day so she could at least finish the customizations I originally asked for on the suit. Why did I agree to this? Probably because of how much time and money I already put into it but it was such a big mistake. When I met Abril on Oct 3rd, she gave me an invoice for $650 +tax which was far more than we originally agreed upon. Then, she asked me to pay the difference of the total for the suit ($713.38) and the $500 deposit before she would refund me my $350….Are you confused yet? Cause I’m still confused at why she would want me to pay her even more when she owed ME money. She refused to refund the entire thing and she also refused to refund at minimum the difference between my total deposits and her claim of how much the suit’s total value was. When I was ready to just leave with the suit, she threatened to call the cops and claim I was robbing them. Eventually, I’d had enough of arguing with her and just left with my suit and she did indeed call the cops who called me thirty minutes later. It didn’t take them long to figure out she was lying and owed me money from the whole dispute and they forced her to send me the remaining difference via Zelle. Don’t go here! They are scammers and will ruin whatever special day you have planned. And like so many other real reviews say, their products are CHEAPLY MADE and OVERPRICED.
