Flour Power Cakery

Our wedding cake was delicious!! We chose the almond poppyseed flavor for our wedding cake and they did an excellent job! It was not super overbearingly sweet and the moisture of the cake was perfect! We had a simple spatula finish to our cake and they did a splendid job! I had a friend put fresh flowers on top since they do not put fresh flowers and it turned out perfect! They let you try all of their cake/cupcake flavors for a small fee of $35? I can't really remember but it wasn't too expensive to try all of the flavors. Our one tiered wedding cake, 150 cupcakes, and 5 cheesecakes were the perfect amount to feed 250 people. We also ordered other small desserts from elsewhere too. Everything was all within our budget as well. They really work with you to stay within your budget and work with you on the design you want. All I can say is Yummy! It was our first time going to the Flour Power Cakery after all these years and we only got the 'do it yourself' cookie package for $20.00. I thought lets have some fun on this Saturday morning, and we were pleasantly surprised. There's so much included in the kit to add to your cookie decorating that you'll have a lot left over and a huge sugar rush. There's a huge amount of single serve sweets for sale which I thought was brilliant, because when we all have those sweet attacks there won't be any leftovers! Give them a try next time your in the mood for sweets or an awesome baked cake. :)

We got a 2-tier wedding cake from Flour Power Cakery because they were partnered with our caterer (Personal Touch Dining), and we supplemented that with sheet cakes from Costco to feed all the guests. We really enjoyed the cake tasting box that they offered and ended up choosing the strawberry parfait flavor, which was fabulous! I also had a pretty specific decor idea and shipped some silk flowers to them along with an inspiration photo via email. The final result was fantastic! I was blown away, it looked so perfect and tasted amazing. I really love cake so there was a lot of pressure riding on this cake but they delivered! I would get it again for sure!

My wife and I could not have been happier with our experience. From the tasting box, to the day of. They did an amazing job. Our cakes were delicious and beautiful. We decided to go with a very simple scrape 2 tier for the cutting and sheet cakes for our guest. Mostly because we want to get as many flavors as possible. Our guests LOVED the guava and champagne flavors and continue to tell us whenever we talk about it. Sarah and her team we absolutely awesome!
