California Dreamin’ in Rose Gold

California Dreamin’ in Rose Gold

Two years later and Rose Gold is still trending. It is still one of the top three quinceañera dresses. To think we introduced this theme to the market two years ago on Good Day LA! It’s still going strong.

Rose Gold became a pop culture phenomenon. It was called the Millennial’s Pink! Many identified this color as feminine, elegant, and high end. It made a huge impact on fashion, jewelry, beauty, weddings, bridal couture, and even home appliances. Now in 2020 and we decided to give Rose Gold a new flair. We added some pastels with a dose of some iridescence. We love dreaming up new concepts and it was time Rose Gold got a facelift.

Stepping out of the norm meant trying something new. It makes you think out of the box. Although Rose Gold is a theme that isn’t going anywhere quite yet, it’s something that can definitely be reimagined. We started with a pink monochromatic backdrop and a gorgeous balloon garland by Picazo Creations. Creativeamme made us a beautiful Rose Gold “It’s a Quince Thing” sign for our backdrop. We wanted to make a wave with this new concept.
Pastel colors evoke happiness. The inspiration for the pastel pop was Taylor Swift’s Lover album cover. California Dreamin‘ in Rose Gold, why not? Another fun element we brought into this theme was dried floral which is trending. Part of California’s landscape includes 6 Desert Parks. Lately Boho Chic has been a summer trend so we thought we would add some of that to the mix.
Our cake designer Mwokaji designed a beautiful layered wafer paper cake that she hand-painted in ombre pink hues. Wafer Paper Cakes took the cake world by storm in 2020. This cake was delicate in nature but very gorgeous at the same time.
Decoradisimo provided a gorgeous Rose Gold dress. It was a sweetheart neckline ball gown with a fully beaded bodice and full glitter tulle skirt. The gown finishes with an elaborate glitter applique hem and a sweeping train.
Our chambelan may have just won the best-dressed award. He wore a burgundy velvet shawl lapel tuxedo from Friar Tux. It is a very elegant and versatile look that can be worn day or night.
Dusty of Diamond Beauty Hair and Makeup gave our quinceañera a cut crease glam. It made for a very bronze glow on Ivy. It is a look that can be
soft or very dramatic. It is a technique that really enhances and defines the eyes. It was a beautiful compliment to her Rose Gold dress. In order to set trends, you must be open to change and try new things. Popularize something, create a movement. You never know how impactful it may be.

We LOVE every single detail of our latest project. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it.
