Once again, Alejandra Guzmán is crowned the Queen of Rock, after receiving the Best Rock Song of the Year award for her single “Día de Suerte” at the annual Premios Lo Nuestro, which took place last Thursday in Miami.

Alejandra Guzmán rocked the stage at Premios Lo Nuestro with a powerful performance of “Día de Suerte” with Moderatto. She sang and danced while floating in front of the audience, causing great ovation among attendees.

The song is part of her successful album release Alejandra Guzmán: 20 Años de Exitos en Vivo con Moderatto, which had a positive critical reception and was certified as a gold and platinum album for its vast sales in Mexico.

“Día de Suerte” is a song written by Alejandra Guzmán and Jose Luis Ortega, member of the Río Roma duet, who in the past couple of months has positioned himself as one of the great artists of romantic music in Spanish.

This is how Alejandra Guzmán celebrates the twentieth anniversary of her successful music career. In just one year, she had three performances at the National Amphitheater in Mexico City and a long tour with Moderatto across Mexico and The United States.

This Saturday, February 18, Alejandra begins the second round of her tour in the United States, performing at the legendary José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In celebration of “La Guzman’s” recognition, we ask our Quinceanera.com audience: which Alejandra Guzmán songs would you play at your Quince party?
