Dare to Succeed!

In my years as a motivational speaker, I have discovered that women are ambitious and entrepreneurial. Every time I ask a woman about her professional goals, the majority responds: "I would love to have my own business," "I want to be my own boss," "I want to be independent."

Even though we have excellent entrepreneurial spirit, we are scared to start something new. We think we need professional training or preparation before launching any project. Women with higher education and those who did not finish high school share this feeling of insecurity. This shows that regardless of our academic level, we always fear new experiences.

Maybe you have a dream but think, "I have no experience, if I try, I will fail... I need to be more prepared!" If you doubt yourself, let me tell you that a study conducted by Harvard University showed that 85% of a person's professional success is attributed to their attitude, while only 15% is related to technical learning in the area.

Find your own path

Don't wait until you feel like an expert to start something new; you could wait your whole life! Find someone who is successful in an area of your interest. Ask them how much experience they had before starting, and you'll be surprised that most will say very little, but they are ready and willing to learn and make mistakes.

I am a clear example of this. I remember years ago when I had the opportunity to write a column for a newspaper, and I thought, "But I have no experience! I'm not ready to write about a different topic every week." But I faced the challenge, and the editor never knew how little experience I had, and of course, I didn't let him know how nervous I was when I picked up the pen to write! Now, my column is read in dozens of newspapers around the country.

Follow your dreams

When I decided to become a motivational speaker, I had no idea how to address an audience. But I took a risk to pursue my dream, and since then, I have led seminars for thousands of people around the world. Even when I thought I didn't meet the requirements for this type of work, I had something more important: I was ready to try!

Don't let your entrepreneurial spirit die because you don't believe you have enough training. Success in your life is not determined by your studies or your experience; it all depends on your confidence in yourself and your desire to succeed!
