How to detoxify your body this spring
Here's how you can put an end to bad energy during the spring.
Your home is not the only thing that needs cleaning this spring. After eating that chocolate cake, your body must be full of toxins that devour your energy and make you feel tired all the time.
Eliminate what is not good for you.
The first step in a detoxification process is to stop eating and drinking what fills your body with toxins. Start by getting rid of anything that contains flour and continue with the exclusion of sugar, processed foods, junk food, fats, oils, and foods with salt. Some of the worst foods you can consume during the detoxification period are meat (because they slow digestion), dairy products (as they are acidic and delay cleansing), and gluten (because it irritates the intestines).
Eat cooked and hot foods, such as soups and broths.
Consume fruits, vegetables, and easily digestible grains, such as apples, pears, figs, papayas, leafy greens, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, quinoa, amaranth, barley, and brown rice.
Eat fresh organic foods.
Season your meals with detoxifying spices like cumin, turmeric, fennel, cilantro, fresh ginger, and black pepper.
Drink at least eight cups of water every day.
Warm or hot water (try hot water with lemon) is especially helpful in getting rid of toxins and facilitating their removal from the body.
Stay active, but don't forget to rest.
You don't have to sign up for any gym, you can choose an activity that suits you, such as walking, running, biking, or dancing, everything is allowed. However, wanting to be active doesn't mean you shouldn't rest. In fact, you should sleep for at least eight hours at night to revitalize your body.
Establish a healthy sleep routine.
Go to bed around 10 p.m. and wake up at 6 am, and avoid sleeping during the day. Finally, don't suddenly end the detoxification process. Take your time to allow your body to return to its regular diet and lifestyle, and if you have bad habits (e.g., you like to consume junk food), try to give them up.
