Your dream Puerto Rican duet Wisin y Yandel partnered with Mark Ecko and launched their latest clothing collection in Las Vegas.

Wisin y Yandelhave joined Madonna, Jennifer Lopez among other celebrities who are involved in the fashion industry.  Their clothing collection by Mark Ecko, named “Los Lideres”, was recently launched and is available for purchase on Shopecko.com.

“We are thrilled to express our creativity to our fans differently. Mark Ecko is the best on the field, hence there was no doubt we wanted to work with him.” The duet stated while on the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, during the Latin Grammys 2011.

The idea to become a part of the fashion industry was due to their fans’ demand as well as the inspiration behind the urban fashion imposed by rappers through the years. “It is historical for us to launch a modern and fashionable line for people to wear comfortably.” said Wisin, wearing his usual dark shaded and sporting items from his new collection.

In an attempt to replicate the Boricua style influenced by the African American rappers’ look, the collection consists of cowboy pants, t-shirts, leather jackets, earphones and even jewelry.

Wisin jokingly said they will be sporting solely Ecko gear to save a couple bucks. This collection will be available in Ecko Stores and Macy’s all over the states. And for all of you, who are wishing to wear the duet’s designs, don’t even worry, they have the idea to soon launch women clothing as well.
