Timeline of the planning of your Quinceañera

Planning your Quinceañera is an exciting and massive task. But don't worry, our Quinceanera.com app can help you.

12 months before your party:

1. Download our Quinceanera.com app

Currently, we have 150k downloads... and counting, of our Quinceanera.com app. This app can be used to find vendors near the venue where your event will be, as well as ideas for your party theme, articles to prepare for the Quinceañera of your dreams, and more.

2. Prepare a budget

One of the most important steps, before even thinking about visiting a venue or choosing the color of your dress, is to prepare a budget. Calculate the average price of things that are crucial and essential for the party, and set a budget that you and your family can afford. Don't be afraid to try negotiating prices with vendors.

3. Book the venue for your party

Once you have established a budget, it's time for the fun part! Start by searching and booking a venue at least a year in advance. Ask if they have special packages for Quinceañeras, or if it's cheaper to have your party on a Friday or Sunday; you might save hundreds of dollars with this alternative.

10 months before your party:

1. Choose a theme or the colors of your celebration

Will the color of your Quince's theme be your favorite color or one that has a special meaning to you? You have to select wisely!

2. Attend a Quinceanera.com Expo

Visit one of our expos in southern and central California, and now in Las Vegas, to see and get an idea of what you need for your party. Here you will find a calendar of our expos in 2020.

3. Look for vendors

If you have already booked the venue, you can request a list of their preferred vendors. This list includes the names of vendors who are familiar with the location of your party. You can also check on Yelp and other social media reviews.

8 months before your party:

1. Decide if you want a court of honor

Will all your cousins be in your court of honor? Will you have only chambelanes? Who will be your damas? With a little over half a year left for your Quince, it's time to start asking for permission from the parents of those you want in your court of honor.

2. Choose the vendors

Now is the time to choose the vendors you feel most comfortable with and that give you a price you can afford.

3. Prepare your guest list

Start making a list of your cousins, best friends, grandparents, and others.

6 months before your party:

1. Send reminder cards

You can easily make these cards online, which, in addition to being cheap, look cute because you can add a photo and send them to all your contacts.

2. Choose your dress

One of the most fun preparations related to your party is the time to decide your dress! Check out Quinceañera dress vendors in our app, at one of our expos, or search our website for ideas you'll love!

3. Buy the accessories

Now that you have picked your Quinceañera dress, it's time to start looking for accessories, including the tiara, shoes, and jewelry you would like to wear with your outfit.

There's a lot to plan for your party, but Quinceanera.com is here to help you. 😄
