We stayed at The Biltmore for a few days and it really was a wonderful stay! This is a beautiful, old, majestic hotel with a lot of history and while maybe not as luxurious as some more modern hotels, it is a very special place and has an old world charm that is really warm and comfortable. The service is great and the setting is beautiful, especially when the hotel is all decorated for Christmas. My daughter was in awe of the huge, real gingerbread house in the hotel lobby! The food is pretty good in the restaurants and the coffee shop downstairs serves great coffee and pastries for snacking anytime. The rooms are quite nice and we were upgraded to a suite after asking to change to a room with two double beds. That was really a pleasant surprise! Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely return the next time we want to stay in Coral Gables!

This place is just SPECIAL! I traveled from San Diego, California and decided to book a night here, not knowing anything about it. WOW! It's magical! I loved everything about this place! I jumped in the pool for the first time in decades and swam by myself, knowing this is a hundred year old pool with so much history. The customer service was excellent. The Sunday brunch was THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! And my room was so beautiful with the best espresso machine! I can't say enough about how beautiful the Biltmore is and the neighborhood surrounding it!

I had family come in from New York over the summer and I booked this hotel for them. When I say hands down one of the best! I'm serious. The rooms were clean and provided more than a picture could ever do it justice. My family stayed there for almost a week before they took the last 2 days of the stay and stayed at my home. I will book this location again when they come down to visit.

My husband and I come to Miami from time to time to visit family. Weā€™re natives but have been living in Colorado for the past 7 years and not only has the Biltmore been the best hotel weā€™ve stayed at in the 305, but the brunch buffet and the service has by far surpassed any of the other 4 star hotels weā€™ve had the pleasure of staying at. Alba and Ileana at the buffet were so sweet and attentive, they made it a point to make my husbandā€™s 40th birthday one of the best heā€™s ever had and weā€™ve agreed that the Biltmore is the only hotel we will stay at in Miami going forward. 5 stars all the way. Canā€™t wait for our next trip to Miami.

Upon arrival, the welcome was not pleasant at all, very poor. As for the idea of reserving a room and paying in advance, I would think the hotel should have the room that was booked prepared on arrival not looking to accommodate. I reserved a Junior Suite with a King Size bed, and I was offered a Queen bed, totally unfair. The whole point of paying for a room in advance if not cancelling the room should be ready for check in and that's what was not professional to me, I feel like my presence was overlooked. This is not a hotel I would recommend or ever stay at. The mattress had run out and was very uncomfortable. And made our back hurt. No softening in them. The lobby was overcrowded and outdated. The decorations were placed and blocked the main Lobby entrance, and there were so many people and no room or space to move around. Even my four talked down about the decorations, which she mentioned to the front Desk she doesnā€™t like. Most of the staff donā€™t speak English, mainly housekeeping and the people working the floor. It was very difficult communicating with them as well as the restaurants. We were seated at a table, and no one ever approached us for assistance until I called on someone. Overall, I had a terrible EXPERIENCE at the hotel and was very regretful.
