We used this hotel with their Day Use program and we loved it. We were in town waiting for a later flight to Singapore and the room definitely came in handy.

The check in process at this hotel was TERRIBLE. We are Gold Elite members and our room was not ready at check in time. We went to the desk at about 3:50pm and I was told our room was not ready and the girl apologized. I told her we would sit in the car and she stated she would call in 10-15 minutes. After waiting the 10 minutes in the car we packed up the luggage cart and headed into the lobby. We stood there with all our luggage and our 8 year old who had been traveling in the car for 5.5 hours with us, she was getting antsy. The girl looked at us several times and made to mention to us of our room being ready. After standing in the lobby for 15 minutes I approached her to see if the room was ready and she looked as if she had completely forgotten about us. She then was able to get us into a room. There was not acknowledgment of me being a Gold Elite member, no direction of where the elevators were, not explanation of services provided such as breakfast, bar, gym or pool. The hotel is in need of new carpet and the wallpaper needs to be updated in the rooms. Paying $25 a day to park is ridiculous when your paying so much for a room. Overall nice property just lacking in a few areas. We were offered cookies on a different night by a different staff member while sifting through the market place.

We recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Westside and had a mixed experience. We had booked two rooms individually. Upon our arrival at 3:15 p.m., one room was ready, which was appreciated. However, we were informed that the second room would be ready by 4 p.m. Unfortunately, this was not the case. After waiting for a considerable amount of time and even after the housekeeping manager was sent to inspect, we were not given access to our second room. It was only around 5 p.m., after approaching the front desk again, that we were finally handed the keys. As Bonvoy Gold Members, we were expecting a welcome gift or at least a mention of it, but there was no acknowledgment. This was a bit disappointing, considering our loyalty to the brand. In terms of room quality, both rooms had some noticeable issues. The wallpaper was peeling back from the wall in certain areas, and the toiletry amenities provided were mismatched, which gave a somewhat unprofessional impression. Another concern was the air conditioning units. Instead of providing a cool, refreshing environment, they seemed to function more like swamp coolers, adding an uncomfortable layer of moisture to the room's air. Additionally, the towels provided in the rooms were of a noticeably low quality, which further detracted from the overall experience. Our stay was passable, but it certainly did not meet the expectations we have come to associate with the Marriott brand. We hope that the management takes note of these issues and addresses them for future guests.

I stayed here, with a room facing the front of the hotel. The hotel had a number of people staying from a motorcycle club the weekend stayed. These guests were permitted to park their motorcycles directly outside the lobby and below rooms, where a lot of them were congregating all day drinking and playing loud music and revving engines. These continues into the night, until they left, the noise of these was very disruptive to sleep as, well as when they started to return what felt like 1 by 1 from midnight to 3am. Safe to say I I got no sleep. Why these guests were not asked to relocate to somewhere in the large car park which would be less disruptive to other guests is questionable. Would not stay here again from this awful experience. If this venue is going to condone such interference with noise to other guests, they should room guests where they will not be disturbed. I called to complain and was offered a breakfast voucher, which is not going to give me back 2 nights of disturbed sleep

I've stayed around this area many times and had to choose this Courtyard due to availability. First, the service was subpar and quite frankly disappointing compared to many other Marriott properties. I asked for an early check in on the day I was arriving and got it confirmed over the phone. As I got stuck in traffic, I called again to confirm the time and then was met with the a different employee of the property who said there was no confirmation of my early check in. This was disappointing as I would not have attempted to head over in rush out traffic if I didn't know I had early check in. I told the representative, well I am about 15 minutes away, can I get a room when I check in at the front desk and she said no, the answer will be the same. Upon arrival, I figured why not try, so I got to the front desk and asked to check in and got a room. Again, I have never had service like this before over the phone with a Marriott hotel. Then when I got to my room, there was a mildew smell and the towels had some stains on them. This property did not seem as clean as most Marriott properties. Anyways, I was thankfully only there for one night, but I recommend people looking elsewhere in the area for a better hotel than this Courtyard.
