Hilton Garden Inn, Carlsbad Beach

Love the hotel right across from the ocean. Great views & is in a great location if you don't want to stay in the heart of San Diego. Friendly staff. The only negative would be the pillows on the bed. Would recommend the hotel invest in better pillows because most people don't sleep well with overly soft & flat pillows.

Our stay at the Hilton was great. The staff at the check in counter were kind and helpful. The hotel was clean and pleasant. The best was the location directly across from the beach. It was nice to walk along the edge of the shoreline and watch the surfers down below. We would definitely stay at this location again!!

I had a comfortable stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach. The room was large, bright, clean, and came with standard amenities. Being on the third floor, I had a distant view of the ocean which was nice. Bed was comfortable. The property had a resort feel to it. The pool was warm, and the hot tub was very hot! The bar seemed to shut early which was not the end of the world, but as the property is a little removed from Carlsbad, there was not another option nearby. Again, the property is straight across from the beach and easy to access, but there is not much else nearby. I would stay here again.

Rooms are a good size. Can be cleaner. But has beautiful views of the beach and of the pool and patio that close at 10 pm. The food was not worth eating here. The food mill place was a great dinner idea for the family
