No matter how little or big your Quinceanera will be, saving money is always an interest of ours.
Check out the next 10 tips on how to celebrate a Quinceanera on a budget:
10) Select a strategic date
Friday and Sunday will always be less expensive than Saturday. A Monday- Thursday will save you tons! If possible, avoid Saturdays and holiday weekends.
9) Reduce your number of guests
Forget about inviting all six generations of your family and their grandmas! Keep it VIP with only those have genuine love for you.
8) Get a used Quinceanera dress
EBay, craigslist, Facebook groups are just a few alternatives of where to get gorgeous worn-once used Quinceanera dresses.
7) Go DIY on your decorations
Recruit within your friends and family five talented and crafty members and make DIY invitations, centerpieces and decorations.
6) Reuse your bouquets for centerpieces
Whatever decorations you use for your mass, take them to your venue. If your damas took bouquets, decorate the reception’s tables with these.
5) Fake your Quince cake
Order a fake cardboard cake with the top layer real for cutting and the rest just pretty for decoration. You can then have basic sheet cakes in the back for caterers to cut and serve.
4) Have your guests take your pictures
Assign one person per table to take pictures. Give them a list of things to look out for such as: candid during the father-daughter dance, cutting of the cake, etc.
3) Don’t pick damas or chambelanes
Save money, rehearsal time and drama by being the star of your party and not having a Quince court.
2) Ask a friend to do your hair and makeup
Sure you have a beauty apprentice in your family, put their talent to the test prior to your Quince so you know what you’re dealing with for free.
1) Send online invitations
Save the forest and go paperless 🙂
