Hannah Montana: The Movie

Miley Cyrus is now 16 years old, so thanks to being this age, she continues to speak closely to her audience (including all the quinceañeras around the world) and despite the fact that the life of the young actress is a constant back and forth between reality and fiction, one thing is true: the Hannah Montana phenomenon must be recognized.

Although it's often not easy to transfer the successful formula from a television series to a movie, the good news for Hannah fans is that this film manages to do it. The most interesting part is that it's not just a film for Miley's fans to watch, but thanks to the talent of director Peter Chelsom and the combination of young and adult talents, it becomes a realization that is enjoyable for the whole family.

The story is simple: the conflicts of Miley and her double life have begun to cause chaos in her family life and in her relationships with her close friends, so her father decides to take her back to the place where it all started, Crowley Corners in Tennessee, to be exact, forcing her to reconnect with a simpler life and regain an identity that she should never have lost.

However, even in the small and quiet town, the threat of gossip hunters arrives, who are willing to reveal Miley's true secret double life, at a time when she has not only reunited with a life that has many rewards, but also with an unexpected romance.

The musical performances by Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift, and of course Miley's father, Billy Ray Cyrus, elevate the musical quality of the film, even though it's not really a musical but rather a film that contains music as a very important part.

As an extra and initial part of the film, the audience witnesses a phenomenal "Sweet Sixteen" type party, which despite having everything a teenage girl would dream of for a celebration like this, ends up becoming the biggest fiasco of the year, reminding us that "big" doesn't necessarily mean "better," although in the case of the film, it is.
